WWG Workshops began in 1986 by Rosemary Thompson and Kathy Summers. Since this inception, these two ladies plus Jan Witten Sewall, 000, Eileen Pestorius, Odile Burton, Debbie Willhite and now Nancy Charbeneau and myself have arranged for and managed this long history of bringing memorably nationally and internationally famous instructors to Austin for the benefit of our members. While compiling this list, it was fun to hear the stories from Rosemary, Kathy and Jan. I cannot imagine that it was common in the early years to have them last six days or to house the instructors in member’s homes. The funniest was Rosemary having to rent Joe Bohler a piano to play during the workshop in October of 1993. We appreciate your support of our workshops and look forward to many more years of continuing this educational tradition.
