43rd Spring Show Entry Form
Stan Kurth, Juror
"When judging or juroring paintings for inclusion or awards in a show or exhibition I look first and foremost for work that gets my attention right away. Usually this means the painting is well composed, implementing the elements and principles of design in an effective manner. A good painting will hold my attention with its content. Technical skill and command of medium is important, but content and the artist's personal view, interpretation or expression are more influential in making a decision."
