Juror's Statement This is the first and only watercolor exhibition I have had the privilege to judge in which there were no rejects. NONE ! What a wonderful opportunity for each artist who entered to be recognized for her or his personal visual gift to this community. The result -- an outstanding feast of color, design, style and uniqueness. In short, a beautiful show for the 26th Annual Exhibition of the Waterloo Watercolor Group. A great opportunity for the many visitors to the show to see the wide range and expression of the watercolor medium. And so many fine examples there are ! To all who entered, my congratulations on contributing to this most memorable event. I would especially like to compliment the award winners for their outstanding paintings -- making this the equal of many national shows. Thank you for this honor to judge the 26th. Respectfully, Arne Westerman |
