Drop off paintings: Saturday, April 5th, 10:00 – 11:00 am at North Hills Gallery in Northwest Hills United Methodist Church 7050 Village Center Dr. Have forms filled out and paintings ready to be hung before drop off. Show runs from April 6th – May 4th.
Declined paintings: New this show only. Both paintings will be accepted provided they meet prospectus requirements.
The reception: Sunday, April 13th 2008 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at North Hills Gallery. Awards presentation at 1:00 pm.
Show strike and pick up paintings: Monday, May 5th from 10:00 -11:00 am at North Hills Gallery. Late pickup fee of $25 per day.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Support: paper surface, unvarnished; no commercially colored papers for collage.
2. Media: must be water-based.
3. Mats: one of white or off-white with optional narrow colored liner of your choice.
4. Frames: simple metal or wooden.
5. Size: no more than 60” in either direction but not both. Limit of one painting over 34” X 42” per person.
6. Glazing: If frame is smaller than 22 inches in both directions, glass or plexiglass will be allowed. If larger, plexiglass only.
7. Hangers: wire in back from side to side.
8. Labels: completed from this form, attached on upper left corner in back.
9. Work: must be original in concept, new to WWG shows and not copies of work or photography other than that of the artist or done under the supervision of others.
10. Artist: must be a paid member of WWG.
11. Fee: $25 per person for one to two paintings. Checks payable to WWG.
Notes:
Ø You are asked to bring a maximum of two of your very best paintings.
Ø The gallery reserves the right to preview all artwork to be hung. No nudes will be accepted.
Ø All paintings must remain the duration of the exhibition. Removing work early will exclude artist from WWG shows for one year.
Ø The individual artist shall handle all sales, with a 20% donation from each sale to WWG. Paintings that are not for sale shall carry the legend "NFS" in place of the price.
Ø Awards will be for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and Merit Awards .

Due care will be used in handling the artist’s work but WWG and
the North Hills Gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage.
